Facebook has taken a rather surprising tactic with the launch of Facebook Questions - for now at least, the questions and answers on the service are not indexed on search engines. The content on Facebook Questions can only be viewed by logged-in Facebook users, making them invisible to the likes of Google and Bing.

Apple’s Steve Jobs somewhat famously said in April that people aren’t searching on their phone, but instead, are using apps. He reasoned, apps on the iPhone “get you into every corner of the internet…This is a new phenomenon that is occurring on the iPhone for the first time in history.” In response, Google’s Mike Steib said this month at the paidContent Mobile event that’s “Bullshit! Dave McClure is a well-known investor through the Founders Fund’s angel program and its joint Facebook fund with Accel, as well as his own investments. Now it looks like McClure about to ramp up his activity by raising a new $30 million fund under the name 500 Startups . The fund was revealed through a regulatory filing spotted by the Form Ds website
