Celebs have taken over Twitter, and now we get to laugh at their “whoops!” moments. Yesterday Perez Hilton tweeted that he’d been assaulted by fellow celeb Will.i.am. causing an overload of phone calls to the local police station and reminding us of some celeb’s desperate attempts at a publicity stunt.

Twitter Annotations Not Coming Soon, After All

This Spring at Twitter’s first developer conference Chirp the big splash was a forthcoming feature called Annotations. The feature will allow publishing software to annotate Tweets with a wide open variety of metadata, which could then be read and analyzed by other software.
